Flyers vs. Devils -- Wells Fargo Center, 7:30 p.m. on NBCSNFlyers lead series 1-0

After an exciting 4-3 overtime victory on Sunday, the Flyers will host Game 2 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series with the Devils Tuesday night. Here's what you need to know.

Previous games
Danny Briere reinforced his "Mr. Playoffs" rep for the Flyers in Game 1 against the Devils. The veteran centerman scored twice for the orange and black, including the game-winner in overtime.

The Flyers came out flat in the first period but were able to put their slow start behind them to take a 1-0 series lead into Tuesday's game.

Who's hot?
Claude Giroux continues to put up points for the Flyers. The NHL's leading scorer in the playoffs netted a third-period marker in Game 1 and now has seven goals and eight assists in seven games so far this postseason.

No Flyer has been as clutch in the playoffs as Briere. He now has 106 points in 104 career postseason games. Briere is also tied with Giroux for the playoff-lead in goals with seven.

Also hot for the Flyers is Jakub Voracek. His two assists in Game 1 give him nine points (two goals, seven assists) so far this postseason.

For the Devils, captain Zach Parise had a goal and an assist in Game 1 to pace New Jersey. Linemate Travis Zajac also scored and is leading the Devils in scoring this postseason with seven points (four goals, three assists).

Storylines
The Devils will be without superstar Ilya Kovalchuk for Game 2. Kovie suffered a lower-body injury during the middle of the Devils' first-round series against the Panthers. Tim Sestito will likely be Kovalchuk's replacement Tuesday night.

James van Riemsdyk, skating in just his third game since returning from a broken foot, played a major role in the Flyers' win on Sunday. JVR had a goal and provided a screen in front of Devils goalie Martin Brodeur on Briere's winning marker in overtime.

The Flyers have scored at least one power-play goal in each of their last seven games this postseason.

Defenseman Nicklas Grossmann returned to the Flyers lineup in Game 1. He logged over 16 minutes and was credited with two hits.

Injuries
Defenseman Andrej Meszaros (lower-back surgery) and Marc-Andre Bourdon (upper-body injury) remain out for the Flyers.

Henrik Tallinder (blood clot, lower leg) and Jacob Josefson (broken left wrist) are out for New Jersey. Kovalchuk is listed as day-to-day.
