Giroux, Briere still lead playoffs in goals

It's been 20 days since the Stanley Cup-bound Devils eliminated the Flyers from the 2012 playoffs. But three Flyers still sit at the top of the playoff leaderboards, according to ProHockeyTalk.

ProHockeyTalk's James O'Brien posted the leaders in points, goals, plusminus, points for a defenseman and penalty minutes. Not surprisingly, members of the Devils and Kings, who begin the Stanley Cup on Wednesday, sit atop most of the categories.

Yet despite playing in 10 and 11 games, respectively, Claude Giroux and Daniel Briere still lead the league in playoff goals (eight apiece), while Zac Rinaldo leads in penalty minutes (48). Giroux remains just one point behind New Jersey's Ilya Kovalchuk for the league lead in points (18).

For what it's worth, current Kings and former Flyers Mike Richards and Jeff Carter are tied for 10th and 24th in points, respectively. The two have played just three more games than the Flyers, since Los Angeles has cruised through the first three rounds, winning 14 of 16.

Of course, as a reminder of what went wrong: Flyers goalie Ilya Bryzgalov remains fifth-to-last in goals against average at 3.46. Sergei Bobrovsky is last at 8.13.
