Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello is expected to address the New Jersey media on Tuesday about the status of Ilya Kovalchuk.
Speculation is that Kovie, who has some kind of lower body injury (back or leg), won't play in Game 2 tonight at Wells Fargo Center.
The Devils have Albany's Tim Sestito, brother of the Flyers' Tommy, available if Kovalchuk is not ready to go, according to the Newark Star Ledger.
Kovalchuk was invisible in Game 1, getting no shots in 21 minutes of ice time. The Flyers won, 4-3 in overtime.
