Another Flyer is going to participate in the Sochi Olympics.

Right wing Jakub Voracek announced on Twitter Monday night that he has been selected to the Czech Republic roster, which is an impressive group of NHLers, including Jaromir Jagr, Patrik Elias, David Krejci and Milan Michalek, among many others.

"I'm very excited," Voracek told CSNPhilly.com on Monday.

The 24-year-old, who is from the same town as Jagr -- Kladno -- has begun to find his scoring touch after a difficult start to the season like almost every other Flyer teammate.

Voracek has 10 goals and 29 points. He had a career-high 22 goals and 46 points during the lockout-shortened season last year which was four points less than his career high as a Columbus Blue Jacket back in 2009-10.

Though he has participated in the last three IIHF World Championships, this is Voracek’s first Olympic selection.

Earlier in the day, Mark Streit was announced as a member of Team Switzerland (see story).
