Position Title: Intern

Basic Function
Intern will shadow and work with our game production crews including Producers, Associate Producers and Editors in the successful broadcast of live events.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Writing/producing promos
• Running materials to/from the truck 
• Logging highlight footage for broadcast purposes 
• Researching material for our reporters and talent 
• Assisting in maintaining the footage created and acquired for production 
• Completing work on both short-term and long-term archival projects (using non-linear editors). 
• Transcribing player interviews
• Cutting players out for use in after Effects/Photoshop
• Ingesting footage into the AVID editing system
• Researching statistics for players
• During live events help to stage manage, get stats for talent, or help maintain communication between the truck and talent
• Assisting marketing with on-site events

Requirements
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of sports.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, weekends & holidays
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be a student in pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor, Master or Juris Doctor degree
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the US
• Must have sophomore standing or above
• Must have a 3.0 GPA

Position Title: Intern
Department: Advertising/Sales

Basic Function

This position will work closely with the Vice President of Sales in generating revenue through commercial advertisements and sponsorship sales. The intern will gain first-hand sales experience through working with Sales Assistants and AEs on pitches, sales-calls and recapping material.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Account Executive on preparation of Sales Presentations
• Cultivate new account leads for local sales
• Track sponsorships in specified programs
• Assist as point of contact with sponsors on game night set up and pre-game hospitality elements.
• Assist with collection of all proof of performance materials.
• Perform Competitive Network Analysis
• Update Customer database
• Other various projects as assigned

Requirements

Basic Function

Assist marketing and promotions with day to day tasks, attend on-site events and implement consumer promotion campaign.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide support for live events through passing out flyers, sending out emails and making phone calls to promote these events, and maintaining communication with outside contacts and vendors.
• Create and execute new marketing initiatives through research and the support of Comcast SportsNet staff. 
• Recording all event details on event recap one-sheets
• Handle day-to-day tasks as required of the Marketing Team. 
• Assist Marketing Manager with planning and implementation of events as scheduled.
• Additional duties as assigned
