FAIRFAX, Va. -- Halil Kanacevic scored 23 points and Langston Galloway added 20 to pace four St. Joseph's players in double-figures in an 84-80 win over George Mason on Saturday night.
Kanacevic hit 9-of-15 shots and St. Joseph's shot 59 percent from the field. Galloway added six rebounds, three assists and two steals while reaching double-figures in points for the 11th consecutive game. DeAndre Bembry scored 17 points and Papa Ndao had 13 for the Hawks.
The win was the sixth in seven games for St. Joseph's (10-5, 1-1 Atlantic-10).
Jalen Jenkins and Bryon Allen each scored 20 points for George Mason (7-9, 0-2).
The Patriots used seven first-half 3-pointers to take a 45-40 lead at halftime despite the Hawks shooting 61 percent from the field.
St. Joseph's second-leading scorer, Ronald Roberts, Jr., did not play after suffering a back injury in the Hawks' 66-62 loss to No. 19 Massachusetts on Wednesday.
