Holy Family University has named a new men's basketball coach to replace John O'Connor, who resigned in February after a videotaped conflict with a former player at practice.

The private school in Philadelphia announced Friday that it has named R.C. Kehoe as the new coach. Kehoe recently finished his fifth season as an assistant with the Delaware men's basketball team.

O'Connor resigned shortly before Holy Family's season finale in February.

The resignation came after a video surfaced on the Internet showing O'Connor pushing former player Matt Kravchuk at practice, knocking him to the floor and then kicking him while he was down.

Kravchuk left the team and sought criminal charges against his former coach, but prosecutors declined to file charges.
