BOX SCORE

La Salle rebounded from a tough loss and got back in the win column Thursday with a decisive 87-72 win over lowly Duquesne.

The Explorers controlled the game from the opening tip, starting the contest on a 15-2 run and never looking back.

The win puts the Explorers (15-11, 7-6) over .500 in Atlantic 10 play.

Turning point
La Salle's hot start was fueled by five threes, three from star Jordan Price and two from sophomore guard Cleon Roberts.

The Dukes went on a 15-3 run to pull within four late in the first half, but that is the closest they came, as La Salle stretched the lead back to 19 with a 15-0 run.

Big men on campus
Price was nothing short of spectacular yet again for La Salle. The reigning A-10 and Big 5 Player of the Week had 19 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Big man Jerrell Wright put up 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Roberts scored 13.

Inside the box score
La Salle destroyed Duquesne's zone defense by going 13 of 30 from beyond the arc.

Wright was five rebounds shy of moving into the Top 10 on La Salle's all-time list.
