It appears Kyle Green's career at Temple has ended before it began.
According to multiple reports early Friday night, Green, who did not travel with the Owls on their trip to Italy and France, will not be enrolling at Temple this fall.
A Temple spokesperson told OwlScoop.com last week that Green did not make the trip for "personal reasons."
A 6-foot-5 swingman out of Camden Catholic in New Jersey and the school's all-time scoring leader, Green was relatively unknown in recruiting circles, but was signed as the first member of Temple's 2013 class, which otherwise includes guard Josh Brown and forward Mark Williams.
Green originally chose Temple over offers from smaller programs like Albany, Colgate and Quinnipiac. He was not rated on recruiting sites such as Rivals or ESPN.
His departure -- or non-arrival, as it were -- leaves Temple with only nine scholarship players on its 2013-14 roster and just 10 total, counting walk-on Nick Pendergast.
Former Texas Longhorn Jalen Bond is sitting out the season in accordance with NCAA transfer rules.
