Rutgers-Camden on Friday advanced to the NCAA Division III men’s soccer final for the first time in program history with a 3-2 win over Loras.

Scarlet Raptors senior Keegan Balle scored the game-winner just 1:22 into overtime, striking on a 75-yard floater. Rutgers-Camden held on for the remaining eight minutes to seal its berth in the final.

Rutgers-Camden will face Messiah, who notched a 4-0 victory over Williams in its semifinal matchup, on Saturday at 6:30 p.m in the title game.

For much of regulation, Rutgers-Camden had a 1-0 lead. Freshman Mike Ryan gave the Scarlet Raptors the one-goal advantage 13 minutes into the game.

Sophomore Richard Lenke then tied the game in the 80th minute before junior Tim van der Bergh gave Loras a 2-1 lead just five minutes later.

The Duhawks’ lead would not last long, as senior Taylor McGrory tied the game for the Scarlet Raptors in the 88th minute.

Goalkeepers Mike Randall for Rutgers-Camden and Dylan Milkent for Loras recorded seven saves apiece. The Duhawks were only able to get nine of 25 shots on goal, while the Scarlet Raptors got 10 of 19 shots on goal.
