For the second consecutive week and fifth overall time this season, Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg has been named the Big Ten's Freshman of the Week. Also, Nittany Lion teammates Allen Robinson, John Urschel and DaQuan Jones earned end-of-season awards from the conference.

Hackenberg earned his accolade after an upset 31-24 victory over Wisconsin on Saturday -- during which he completed 21 of 30 passes for 339 yards and four touchdowns. The Nittany Lions' win over the then-No. 14 Badgers was their first victory over a top-15 opponent since beating No. 13 LSU in the 2010 Capital One Bowl, and their first top-15 win on the road since a win over Ohio State on Oct. 25, 2008 -- though both wins were vacated in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky abuse scandal.

Hackenberg also received honorable mention for the All-Big 10 team, along with teammates Adrian Amos, Glenn Carson, Ty Howle, Jordan Lucas, C.J. Olaniyan and Donovan Smith.

Robinson, Urschel and Jones were named to the All-Big Ten first teams as voted by coaches and media at wide receiver, guard and defensive lineman, respectively.

Additionally, Robinson earned the Richter-Howard Receiver of the Year award for the second consecutive season, after becoming the second receiver in program history with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, with 1,432 receiving yards on 97 catches and six touchdowns. The junior stands at third all-time in receiving yards for the school, and his eight games with 100-plus receiving yards set a school record.

The 6-3, 318-pound Jones was among the Nittany Lions' leaders in tackles, with 56. He also added three sacks, and led Big Ten defensive tackles in hits. He and Urschel -- who anchored the Nittany Lions' offensive line as a fifth-year senior -- served as team captains.
