Sheila Reid of Villanova is a two-time Honda Award winner, adding the track honor to the one she earned in cross country.

Reid won the award for track Thursday, six months after she was recognized in cross country.

The senior from Newmarket, Ontario, was the NCAA outdoor champion at 1,500 and 5,000 meters, becoming the first woman to win both events in the same year.

Other nominees were Jessica Beard of Texas A&M, Kimberlyn Duncan of LSU and Kim Williams of Florida State. They were selected by the Women's Track and Field Coaches Association.

Reid led her cross country team to an undefeated season and its second straight NCAA championship. She won her first NCAA national cross country crown by a two-second margin.

The awards will be handed out June 27 in New York.
