Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia Marketing Internship
Reports To: Marketing Department (VP of Marketing, Sr. Marketing Manager)
Hours Required: 10 - 20 per week
Available Semesters: Fall, Spring or Summer (Jan. 31 is cutoff for summer applications)

Requirements: Must be a student in accredited college receiving academic credits (not a paid internship). This must be confirmed by the college on the their letter head.
Qualifications:
College students pursuing degrees in Marketing, Sports Management, or Communications with an interest in Public Relations or related degrees preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient creative writing skills. Knowledge of sports, both locally and nationally. Must be a creative, professional, and motivated individual. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Use of Photoshop and Event Photography experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
Public Relations/Communications:
-Updating and maintaining media lists
-Distributing news releases
-Maintaining a clippings data base-
-Clipping and pasting up clips
Advertising Sales:
-Create/write sales opportunity booklet
-Organize sales and promotional files
-Brainstorm and create sales promotions
Media:
-Learn and understand media buy of CSN
-Write radio spots
-Attend production shoots
-Organize media files, invoices
-Involved in planning for fall media
-Maintain and update CSN social networking sites
Promotions/Marketing/Events:
-Brainstorm and create marketing opportunities for CSN
-Learn how to write marketing plan
-Redesign/collect information for programming guide
-August/September changes for media kit
-Event Marketing - preparing/planning/attending event
-Upload and proof event photos
Miscellaneous Tasks
-Distribute CSN marketing literature
-Maintain/update marketing promotional calendar
-Maintain/update marketing premiums
