Despite being the only player in the NBA this season with at least 130 steals and 130 blocks, Nerlens Noel didn't place first or second in Rookie of the Year voting.

The results were revealed on Thursday and Noel placed third, behind Rookie of the Year Andrew Wiggins and runner-up Nikola Mirotic.

Wiggins, drafted first overall by the Cavs before being traded to the Timberwolves for Kevin Love, averaged 16.9 points on 43.7 percent shooting for the T-Wolves. Minnesota finished 16-66, two games worse than the Sixers for the worst record in the NBA.

Mirotic became a key piece for the Bulls in the second half of the season, averaging 16.0 points and 6.3 rebounds in 28 games after the All-Star break.

Noel played 75 games and averaged 9.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.8 steals in 30.8 minutes. He shot 46.2 percent from the field and 60.9 percent from the free throw line.
