Background:
After three years at ESPN, Andy, a Cheltenham native, returned to Philadelphia to be a part of the startup team that launched Comcast SportsNet. He spent three years in production – serving as the producer for SportsRise – before helping launch the Web site in 2000.

The Eagles’ beat writer for CSNPhilly.com, Andy turns to basketball after football season ends (although it never really does). In addition to Super Bowl XXXIX, he has also covered the Sixers’ trip to the NBA Finals in 2001, St. Joe’s 27-0 regular season and run to the Elite Eight in 2004 and Villanova’s march to the Final Four in 2009.

In his spare time, Andy plays in a co-ed intramural football league, which has introduced terms such as "girl play" and "third-and-girl" to the football lexicon, and a couple of softball leagues. One of the softball teams consists of several scribes yet somehow has managed a few winning seasons this decade.
