Managing Dario Saric's 24-minute guideline was the least of the Sixers' troubles against the Nets.
The Nets beat the Sixers, 141-118, on Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Center. The Nets' total was the most scored by any team at the Wells Fargo Center in history.
The Sixers gave up 40 points in the first quarter and trailed, 81-53, at halftime. The Sixers' previous first-half worst scored by an opponent was 70 by the Cavaliers just last week.
The Nets pushed their lead up to 35 points in the third. They were in cruise control for the fourth.
The Sixers gave up a season high in points (previously 136 by the Pistons on March 5). On the other hand, the Nets set a season-high in three-point percentage (51.6) and largest lead (39 points).
The Sixers dropped to 28-50. The Nets moved up to 19-59.

Injury updates
Saric is being limited to 24 minutes because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot, according to Brett Brown. He played only 19 minutes in the blowout loss. Sergio Rodriguez (left hamstring strain) will miss the next game and is scheduled to be reevaluated on Friday. Robert Covington has been receiving treatment (right knee) at the Sixers' training complex. He watched the game from the bench. Joel Embiid remains in Los Angeles for rehab from his left knee surgery and was not present for the team photo taken before the game.

• Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot led the Sixers with 19 points (6 for 15 from the field, 3 for 11 from three).
• Shawn Long scored in double digits -- tying his season high with 18 points -- for the seventh time in 15 games with the Sixers. He also pulled down six rebounds.
• Richaun Holmes scored 16 points, grabbed six rebounds and collected four assists. He, along with Brown, was issued a technical foul.
• Saric recorded 10 points, three rebounds and two assists.
• T.J. McConnell posted 13 points and seven assists.
• Brook Lopez scored 16 points with four rebounds for the Nets. Jeremy Lin also scored 16 points with five rebounds and seven assists.
• Former Delaware 87er Sean Kilpatrick scored 13 points.
• Villanova alum Randy Foye scored 12 points.
Poythress checking boxes
Brown measures the Sixers with three criteria: pace, space and defense. He would like to see a player fit two or three of those categories. Poythress, who scored 10 points, checked off a few with a team-high seven rebounds and a three-pointer made.
