TORONTO -- The Sixers' woes against the Raptors continued on Monday night as they fell 122-95 at Air Canada Centre.

The Sixers have lost 13 consecutive games to the Raptors with their last win coming on Jan. 18, 2013.

The Sixers have also lost six straight on the road this season. Their struggles away from home date back to last season with their last road victory coming on Jan. 20.

How it happened
Led by 24 points from Philly product Kyle Lowry, the Raptors opened their season-high six-game homestand by stretching their current win streak to three games.

DeMar DeRozan added 10 third-quarter points and went a perfect 6 for 6 from the line in the quarter as the Raptors stretched their lead over the Sixers to 20, 91-71.

Ersan Ilyasova had seven points and two assists in the third while Nik Stauskas added six points off the bench in the period as the Sixers' shooting problems continued. The Sixers shot just 33 percent from the field in the third.

Toronto held the Sixers to 40 percent shooting from the field through two quarters and led 60-49 at recess.

Robert Covington led the way with 12 points while Richaun Holmes added seven points and four rebounds off the bench.

The Raptors closed out the first quarter on a 10-0 run capped off by a Patrick Patterson buzzer-beating three from beyond half to lead 33-26.

Covington went 3 of 4 from beyond the arc to lead the Sixers with nine points and two rebounds in the first. Sergio Rodriguez added six points and three assists in the opening quarter.

Inside the box score
• Covington led the way for the Sixers with 20 points and three rebounds while Jahlil Okafor added 15 points and five rebounds.

• Rodriguez, starting in place of the injured Jerryd Bayless, added 11 points and seven assists.

• Stauskas, who hails from nearby Mississauga, Ontario chipped in with 11 points and two assists off the bench.

Injury update
Jerryd Bayless missed his second consecutive game due to left wrist soreness. The 28-year-old, who has been limited to just three games this season due to the injury, did not make the trip to Toronto.

Joel Embiid was given the night off for rest after scoring 22 points and grabbing nine rebounds in Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Local flavor
Lowry, a Villanova product, became the first Raptor to go a perfect 6 for 6 from three-point range.
