With the roster at 75 following Thursday night's preseason win over the Jets, the Eagles need to get it down to 53.

The team needed to cut 21 players by the 4 p.m. deadline on Saturday to do so after trading Sam Bradford to Minnesota (see story)

Here's the full list of cuts:

Myke Tavarres — The linebacker was informed of his release on Friday. Tavarres was the linebacker from Incarnate Word who originally planned to sit for the national anthem on Thursday night, but then changed his mind. Tavarres was one of a couple undrafted rookie linebackers the Eagles had in camp. It seems unlikely Tavarres will stick around on the practice squad.

Quentin Gause — The rookie linebacker has been released.

Jake Metz — The dream has come to an end. Metz, who won an ArenaBowl with the Soul, has been cut and the team has no plans to add the defensive lineman to its practice squad, according to NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks. Metz, a Souderton, Montgomery County native, signed with the Eagles on Monday for their final preseason game against the Jets.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson — The Eagles informed the quarterback that he will be waived. That leaves the roster at just two quaterbacks, Carson Wentz and Chase Daniel, at the moment.

Byron Marshall — According to NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks, the Eagles have waived Marshall but hope to sign the running back to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Marcus Johnson — The Eagles have cut the wide receiver. A source told CSNPhilly.com's Dave Zangaro that the Eagles hope to sign Johnson to their practice squad.

Blake Countess — CSNPhilly.com's Dave Zangaro reported that the Eagles are waiving the sixth-round pick, which the Eagles later made official. The safety would be a likely practice squad choice if he clears.

Aziz Shittu — The Eagles released the undrafted rookie defensive lineman.

Ed Reynolds — The Eagles cut the defensive back. The 2014 fifth-round pick had an pick-six in the final preseason game against the Jets.

Don Cherry — The Eagles released the former Villanova linebacker.

Bruce Gaston — The defensive tackle was cut after he was claimed by the Eagles on Tuesday.

Najee Goode — For the second straight year, Goode was among the Eagles' final cuts. The linebacker made the roster later in the 2015 season and scored a touchdown off a blocked punt.

Darrell Greene — The Eagles released the undrafted free agent guard out of San Diego State.

Barrett Jones — The center, who was signed from the Bears' practice squad last season, did not make the final roster.

Cayleb Jones — Jones, an undrafted rookie wide receiver, was cut after fighting for a spot in a young group of receivers.

M.J. McFarland — Another undrafted free agent, the tight end was cut on Saturday.

Cedric O'Neal — The undrafted rookie running back from Valdosta State University was released.

Chris Pantale — The Eagles released the tight end on Saturday.

Cody Parkey — Two years removed from the Pro Bowl, Parkey was released after the Eagles chose to give the kicking job to Caleb Sturgis. Parkey missed all of 2015 with a groin injury.

JaCorey Shepherd — A sixth-round pick in 2015, Shepherd was cut on Saturday. He was out for the 2015 season with a torn ACL.

David Watford — The Eagles cut the undrafted rookie wide receiver.
