Eagles Injury Update: Bennie Logan (groin) still not practicing

Eagles starting defensive tackle Bennie Logan (groin) missed practice Wednesday and is still considered “week to week,” head coach Doug Pederson said.

Logan was questionably listed as questionable heading into Sunday’s game against the Vikings and was unsurprisingly inactive.

Early in this week, Logan still seems like a longshot to play, especially because of a move the Eagles made Monday.

Even with Ron Brooks heading to the injured reserve with a ruptured quad tendon, the Eagles filled the roster spot with a defensive lineman instead of a defensive back. They claimed Taylor Hart off waivers from the 49ers. Hart, of course, was drafted by the Eagles and spent the last two years and this offseason in Philadelphia.

“Well right now, with the injury to Bennie, and you’re down to three (defensive tackles),” Pederson said. “As much rotating as we do, we felt the need to bring a fourth in.”

The only other Eagles player who didn't practice Wednesday was linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (hamstring strain), also considered week to week.

Mychal Kendricks (ribs) and Jordan Matthews (knee tendinitis) were limited participants at Wednesday's practice.

Jason Peters (hamstring, biceps) practiced in full.
