Gunn's bullet points: Sam Bradford, Eagles defense and more

Share

• Doug Pederson said his starting offense would play a little more than a quarter, but after being on the field for only 2:50 of the first quarter he decided to extend it to the entire first half. The results: 26 plays, 122 yards and no touchdowns.

• Sam Bradford wasn't bad but he wasn't great either. At one point he was 6 of 8 for 26 yards, but finished the game 14 of 19 for 115 yards.

• How about the Eagles' opportunistic defense. With four first half interceptions, the defense has totaled seven interceptions in two games.

• RB Kenjon Barner made the most of his opportunities. Barner finished with 6 carries for 41 yards, totalling 6.8 yards per carry. He also added one rushing touchdown.

• WR Paul Turner, who has had an outstanding training camp, is making the coaches' decisions difficult. He had 3 catches for 44 yards including an impressive diving snag.
