Snap counts: Nelson Agholor barely leaves field vs. Giants

Nelson Agholor made a huge play on Thursday night. Maybe the biggest of his career.

In the 24-19 win, he caught a 40-yard touchdown bomb in the second quarter that put the Eagles up 21-6. He finished with two catches for 47 yards and barely left the field.

He played 54 snaps out of 56 on Thursday night and really made one play. But at this point in his career, the Eagles will absolutely take it. It was a huge play.

Agholor played more than any other receiver on Thursday night, including Jordan Matthews, who played just 39 snaps. Dorial Green-Beckham played 27 and Bryce Treggs got just one, which came on that first-half interception.

Lane Johnson played all 56 snaps in his return from suspension but the offensive line was intact for just 13 plays. That's when Allen Barbre's hamstring injury forced him out early. Stefen Wisniewski played the remaining 43.

Ryan Mathews led the way for the running backs with 28 snaps, followed by Darren Sproles (27) and Byron Marshall (1). After playing extensively in his NFL debut last week, Marshall barely saw the field.

On defense, Malcolm Jenkins, Rodney McLeod and Nigel Bradham played all 89 snaps. On the season, Jenkins has played 963 of 964 total snaps. The only one he missed was the fake punt from the Browns in the opener.

Since joining the Eagles in 2014, Jenkins has missed just eight snaps. He's played 3,351 of 3,359.

Leodis McKelvin led the way for corners, playing 83 snaps, followed by Nolan Carroll (66) and Jalen Mills (66).

Connor Barwin edged out Brandon Graham 65-63 in snaps for defensive ends, while Vinny Curry picked up 34.

Special teams safety Terrence Brooks got his first three defensive snaps of the season and had a game-sealing interception.
