MONTREAL -- Carey Price stopped 36 shots for his third shutout of the season to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-0 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
Brandon Prust, Brendan Gallagher and Max Pacioretty scored the goals to help Montreal end its season-high four-game losing streak.
Anton Khudobin had 27 saves for Carolina, which snapped a four-game winning streak.
Prust and Gallagher put the Canadiens on the scoreboard in the first period, and Pacioretty got his team-leading 22nd goal in the second.
Montreal has now won six of its last seven against Carolina at the Bell Centre (see full recap).
Spezza lifts Senators over Jackets
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Jason Spezza scored a power-play goal with 5 minutes left and Stephane Da Costa had two goals to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.
Craig Anderson had 34 saves for the Senators, who had lost two in a row and four of five.

Cam Atkinson and James Wisniewski had power-play goals for the Blue Jackets, who have lost three in a row after setting a franchise record with eight consecutive victories. Curtis McElhinney stopped 25 shots.
With Columbus' Nathan Horton off for tripping, Colin Greening's pass through the crease was deflected by Blue Jackets defenseman Fedor Tyutin, with Spezza closest to the loose puck. His first shot was blocked by Tyutin, but he took another whack at it and got it past McElhinney for the tiebreaker (see full recap).
Ovechkin, Capitals top Sabres in OT
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Alex Ovechkin capped a four-point night by setting up Mike Green's goal one minute into overtime to give the Washington Capitals a 5-4 win over the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.
Ovechkin had two goals and two assists for his 14th multipoint outing of the season. Green had two goals and an assist and Troy Bouwer also scored in a game the Capitals never trailed but squandered a 2-0 lead. Washington (24-21-8) was coming off a 5-0 win at Montreal on Saturday and won consecutive games since Jan. 9-10.
Cody Hodgson had two goals and Christian Ehrhoff and rookie Phil Varone, with the first of his career, scored for Buffalo. The Sabres (14-31-7) dropped to 1-5-2 in their past seven (see full recap).
