Phillies (63-36) vs. Padres (44-56), 1:35 on WPHL

Starting Pitchers
Phillies: Roy Halladay. Halladay (11-4, 2.57 ERA) walked off the mound in the fifth inning in Chicago in his last start. He left because of the heat, but is expected to be fine for Sunday's matinee.

Padres: Tim Stauffer. Stauffer (6-6, 2.83 ERA) is 0-1 with a hefty 11.15 ERA in three career starts against the Phillies.

Previous games
The Phillies took the first and second game of the four-game set on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday, after the Padres took a one-run lead in the top of the seventh inning, the Phillies scored five in the bottom of the inning and held on to win, 8-6.

Head-to-head
The Phillies have now won 16 of their last 18 games against the Padres, but the two losses came in Philadelphia. The Padres have lost their last nine games against the Phils and have been outscored 34-13 during that stretch.

Whos hot?
Chase Utley homered twice on Saturday and knocked in a season-high four runs. Ryan Howard, who started the game on the bench, hit a pinch-hit homer in the seventh inning.

Storylines
In his last start, Halladay was hot too. Literally. The reigning Cy Young winner left his last start in Chicago because he couldn't handle the heat. The loss to the Cubs was his first in 11 starts. He is 2-0 with a 1.72 ERA in his two career starts against the Padres.

Today's lineup
Jimmy Rollins SS, Michael Martinez 3B, Chase Utley 2B, Ryan Howard 1B, Shane Victorino CF, Raul Ibanez LF, Domonic Brown RF, Carlos Ruiz C, Roy Halladay P.
