Give and Go: When will Sixers get next road win?

Each week, we'll ask questions about the Sixers to our resident basketball analysts and see what they have to say.

Running the Give and Go this week are CSNPhilly.com Sixers Insider Dei Lynam, CSNPhilly.com columnist John Gonzalez and CSNPhilly.com producer/reporter Matt Haughton.

When will the Sixers get their next road win?

Lynam
I am going to contradict myself and say either against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Sacramento Kings or both. I know last week I said the Sixers would go 1-5 on this road trip with the lone win coming in Milwaukee. That didn’t happen and now I’m saying the team could notch one or even two victories in the next 10 days.

Seeing the players return from their three-day holiday hiatus, there was definitely a sense of rejuvenation among them and the coaching staff. Michael Carter-Williams’ play has shown no ill effects from the skin infection in his knee, and the Lakers and Kings were a combined 12-18 at home entering Friday.

Gonzalez
I thought the Sixers would beat the Bucks in Milwaukee -- because the Bucks are awful. I underestimated how equally not-good at basketball the Sixers can be on the road. The next road win? Let's see: Not Phoenix. Or L.A. Or Denver. Or Sacramento. Or Portland. I'll take the Cleveland game on Jan. 7. Why not? The Sixers have to win on the road eventually. Probably.

Haughton
Like the rest, I thought the best shot the Sixers would have at a win on their six-game road swing was in Milwaukee. So much for that. While the rest of the trip isn't exactly daunting outside of Portland, I still don't see the Sixers breaking their skid during this stretch now. With limited games away from home immediately after this trip, the next real chance I see is at Washington on Jan. 20 during a Martin Luther King Day matinee. Why not go back to the scene of their lone road win to get their second of the season?
