Phillies (74-39) at Giants (62-52), 4:05 p.m. on WPHL

Starting Pitchers
Phillies: Roy Oswalt. Oswalt (4-6, 3.79 ERA) hasn't pitched since June 23, but has had success against the Giants. He is 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA in three starts against the Giants since joining the Phillies.

Giants: Tim Lincecum. Lincecum (9-9,2.77 ERA) hasn't been getting much run support from his teammates. He has a 1.74 ERA in his last nine starts, but is only 4-4 in that stretch and is one loss away from matching a career high. He is 3-1 with a 1.45 ERA in his last five starts against the Phillies.

Previous games
The Phillies have taken the first three games of the four-game series from the Giants. On Saturday, Cole Hamels gave up just one run (a homer in the ninth) and almost notched the second shutout of the series for the Phils. Cliff Lee tossed on on Thursday night. The Phillies are going for their 10th straight win.

Head-to-head
After last year's NLCS and their earlier meeting this season, some thought the Giants were in the Phillies' heads. In their two meetings earlier this season, the Giants held the Phils to just one run in each game. The Giants have scored two or fewer runs in all three games in this series.

Who's hot?
In his eight games since being traded from Houston, Hunter Pence is batting .382 with seven RBIs. The Phils haven't lost since he's been on the team.

Pablo Sandoval went 2 for 4 on Saturday and is now batting .313. He's the only Giant batting over .290.

Storylines
The Phillies won their ninth in a row on Saturday, but may have lost Placido Polanco in the process. The 35-year-old third baseman, who recently came off the DL, may be on his way back.

Sound off
Will Roy Oswalt stay healthy for the rest of the year?
