Phillies (78-41) vs. Nationals (57-62), 1:35 p.m. on WPHL

Starting Pitchers
Phillies: Roy Halladay. Halladay (15-4, 2.51 ERA) is again having a "Roy-Halladay" type of year. He picked up his NL-leading 15th win against the Dodgers on Monday. The win was his fourth straight after being forced out of a game in Chicago with heat exhaustion.

Nationals: Chien-Ming Wang. Wang (1-2, 3.60 ERA) earned his first win in more than two years in his last start (3-1 over the Cubs). Wang spent most of the last two seasons rehabbing several shoulder injuries.

Previous games
After Cole Hamels gave up three runs on six hits in Friday night's 4-2 loss, the Phils bounced back and beat the Nats 11-3 behind a strong performance from Roy Oswalt.

Head-to-head
The Phillies are 7-4 against the Nationals this season and have outscored them 50-40.

Who's hot?
Ryan Howard is batting .333 (18 for 54) since the Phillies brought in Hunter Pence to bat behind him in the fifth spot. He also has six homers and 17 RBIs in that span.

For the Nats, Ryan Zimmerman went 1 for 4 just a day after his 19-game hitting streak was snapped.

Storylines
The Phillies now have a commanding lead in the NL East. Charlie Manuel and Rich Dubee are considering using six starters for the rest of the regular season to rest Halladay (175.2 innings pitched), Cliff Lee (172) and Cole Hamels (172).

Sound off
Will Roy Hallday win the NL Cy Young again?
