SAN DIEGOThe Phillies 13-game winning streak at Petco Park came to an end Saturday night in a 5-1 loss to the San Diego Padres.

The Phils had just three hits, one by pitcher Roy Halladay.

The Phils came within one out of being shut out for the second time in four games.

The Phils had not lost in San Diego since Aug. 16, 2008. They are 7-8 on the season. San Diego is 4-12.

Starting pitching report
Halladay wasnt bad, but he wasnt close to the pitcher he was in winning his first three starts. He labored at times through seven innings, but still kept the game close, allowing just two runs. Halladay gave up five hits and walked four for just the second time as a Phillie. In the second inning, he walked three in a row for the first time in his career. The Padres turned one of those walks into the first run of the game.

Lefty Cory Luebke pitched eight shutout innings and held the Phils to two hits in notching the win. Luebke walked two and struck out five. He has allowed just two runs in his last 20 13 innings.

Bullpen report
Mike Stutes gave up an RBI single, an RBI double and an RBI triple in the eighth inning.

Huston Street allowed a run in the ninth before getting the final out of the game.

At the plate
Placido Polanco, Ty Wigginton and Halladay had the Phillies hits. Wiggintons RBI double came with two outs in the ninth and prevented the Phils from being shut out.

The Phils were 1 for 5 with runners in scoring position.

Orlando Hudson drove in two of the Padres five runs.

In the field
Freddy Galvis played another outstanding game at second base. He saved a run behind Halladay with a diving play in the second inning.

Health check
The Phillies placed Cliff Lee on the disabled list with a left oblique strain. (Link, please)

Carlos Ruiz (jammed left wrist) missed his second straight game.
