The Phillies' cleanup hitter is back in the lineup for Sunday's showdown with the Cardinals (see game notes).

Ryan Howard, who has missed the last two games because of a sore groin, is back and hitting fourth against St. Louis tonight.

Since April 8, the previously struggling Howard has improved his average from .148 to .274.

John Mayberry gets the start in right field and will bat second behind Jimmy Rollins. Mayberry is 5 for his last 12 (.417). Ben Revere remains in the seven-hole and Erik Kratz is behind the plate to catch Kyle Kendrick.

Here's the full lineup, which opposes Jake Westbrook, who has not given up an earned run yet this season in 15 2/3 innings.

4. Ryan Howard, 1B
