In his first NBA All-Star weekend, Jrue Holiday will take part in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.

The league announced Thursday night that Holiday has been selected for the competition, which takes place on Saturday, Feb. 16, the same night as the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest, the Sears Shooting Stars and the Sprite Slam Dunk contest

The 22-year-old Holiday will take on five other participants including Tony Parker (Spurs), Brandon Knight (Pistons), Damian Lillard (Trail Blazers) Jeremy Lin (Rockets) and Jeff Teague (Hawks).

In the league's new format, Holiday will represent the Eastern Conference, which will compete against the Western Conference in the four All-Star skills competitions to raise money for charity. The conference that finishes with the most points totaled from each event will be declared the All-Star Saturday Night champion.

Holiday is the youngest player in Sixers history to make the All-Star Game. The Sixers point guard ranks 12th in the league in scoring (19.3 ppg) and fourth in assists (8.9 apg).
