The Union officially unveiled their new third jersey on Tuesday, and the anticipated all-black kit is heavily influenced by old history.

Designed in tribute to the ultra-successful Bethlehem Steel FC, which ran from 1911-1930, the Adidas-brand jersey features an all-black style with white trim, a black-and-white Union logo and retro red Bimbo sponsor name. The jersey also comes with a “B” in the lower left corner to represent Bethlehem Steel and continue with the vintage feel.

The Union, who typically sport blue, white and gold as their primary colors, will wear their new black-and-white kit on Saturday in their season opener against Sporting KC at PPL Park.
