And the original Union players keep heading out of town...

According to Chris Vito of the Delco Daily Times, the Union have traded former first-overall draft pick Danny Mwanga.

UPDATE: It's official. The return: Columbian forward Jorge Perlaza.

Just got confirmation that @philaunion forward Danny Mwanga has been traded.

A separate report has him heading to Portland.

Danny Mwanga heading to Portland Timbers, one source says. Not sure which Timbers forward goes to Philly. #mls

More as we hear it...

And there it is. Makes sense. Mwanga has Portland ties (went to high school/college there), Spencer loves him. Union rate Perlaza.

Union trade Danny Mwanga to Portland for Jorge Perlaza. Perlaza has 6 goals in 40 appearances for the Timbers.
