Video: Jack McInerney's Amazing Goal Helps Union Defeat Galaxy

There's something exciting about a sweet little backheel move, especially when it results in a goal. The Union had a couple of them last night.

Jack McInerney got the Union on the board late in the first half in their 4th of July contest against the Galaxy out in L.A. It was made possible by some impressive work by Michael Farfan along the endline, sending a ball right in front to Jack Mac who did his magic with a simple flick of the ball behind him. It rolled just out of the Galaxy keeper's reach and into the net. Pretty nasty.

It put the Union up 1-0 at the half but that score wouldn't hold as the Galaxy finally got one passed Zac MacMath and his friendly defenders to tie things up.

But in the waning seconds of extra time, Lionard Pajoy wowed us watching at home once again with an impossible backheel that setup to Farfan who finished strong to give the Union a 2-1 victory.
