The Soul announced on Monday the addition of quarterback Bryan Randall to their 2014 roster.

The second-year AFL quarterback played for the Pittsburgh Power last season, completing 63 percent of his passes for 2,142 yards and 39 TDs and just nine INTs.

Randall, 30, played college football at Virginia Tech, where he shared playing time with Marcus Vick, Michael Vick's younger brother. Randall led the Hokies to a Sugar Bowl berth in his senior year and is Virginia Tech's career leader in passing yards (6,508) and yards of total offense (8,034).

Randall went undrafted in 2005 before signing with the Atlanta Falcons, who at the time were quarterbacked by Michael Vick.

Randall also spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as the Canadian Football League's Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 2008.
