Tiger Jones caught 13 passes for 135 yards and scored three touchdowns, including one rushing, and the Soul on Saturday defeated the Chicago Rush 72-41 at Allstate Arena.
“We scored every time on offense, got turnovers on defense and played well on special teams,” said head coach Clint Dolezel in a statement from the team. “When you get that kind of production, you will usually win games. It is a reflection of a great couple weeks of practice and exactly what the doctor ordered for our overall confidence.”
Quarterback Dan Raudabaugh completed 22 of 34 passes in the Soul win and threw for 135 yards and six touchdowns.
The Soul (3-3) outscored Chicago 20-7 in the final quarter.
The team will host the Pittsburgh Power on May 11 at Wells Fargo Center on the Comcast Network.
