It's nice to see a class guy like Dawkins get the nod to go to Hawaii, even if he didn't have a phenomenal year.  I think it's safe to say BDawk is Mr. Eagle; It's hard to find an Eagles fan who doesn't love the guy.  I'll never forget the 4th and 26th game where I sat first row behind the Eagle's bench, watching Dawkins on the sideline made you proud to be an Eagles fan.  The guy has more passion in his pinky than some prima donnas have in their entire life.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Eagles safety Brian Dawkins was named as a replacement
to the NFC Pro Bowl team Wednesday after Chicago Bears safety Mike Brown
dropped out with an injury.

"I hate to go because somebody has gone down with an injury, but being the
first alternate, that happens," Dawkins said. "This is something that I work
for each and every year and I never take it for granted. It's an honor."
