Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park came in at 15th in Sports Illustrated’s rankings of fan value at a baseball game.  What hurt Philly the most was cost.  CBP ranked poorly in both average ticket price and price of concessions and souvenirs.   We scored highly in amenities and atmosphere and poorly for neighborhood and 2006 team record.  Can’t really argue with much of that either.  Other than the sports complex, McFadden’s, & Chickie’s, there really aren’t too many other entertainment options in the direct area.  Sports Illustrated did not include the likelihood of witnessing a high school brawl in the nose bleeds or a fan urinating in the parking lot in their value index.
