Down by the Banks of the River Charles (They are Celebrating)

Now that's the kind of thing that gives you goosebumps.  After watching the Red Sox, who clearly were the best team in baseball this season, celebrating their second World Series Championship in the last four years I couldn't stop thinking about it.  What would it be like to see Brett Myers throw his glove 100 feet into the air in an act of pure joy during the final game of the season?  What would it be like to watch Ryan Howard smile from ear to ear, to see Chase Utley reach the ultimate goal, to see Jimmy's snaggletoothed smile, to see Pat Burrell vindicated?  To see the Phillies become world champions.

That would be something.  Maybe someday.

Congrats to Curt and Tito and Congratulations to the 2007 World Champion Boston Red Sox.  The party from Dorchester to Faneuil Hall is still probably rocking this morning.

Oh, and hey Pat Gillick, you going to try and buck up for the World Series MVP, or what?
