After taking a puck to the face in practice on Monday, Flyers fourth line winger and enforcer Jody Shelley will require surgery to repair his orbital bone and miss the next four weeks. That includes the rest of the regular season, and guys of Shelley's particular skill set don't usually get much time in the playoffs, so who knows how much more we'll see of him this season. It would have been nice to have his protection in the lineup over the final games of the regular season though, when some of the guys on non-playoff teams could be trying to make names for themselves by getting rough with players on a contending team.
