Eagles to Face QB They Didn't Find Worthy of Holding a Clip Board

In the deal that brought LB Takeo Spikes to Philadelphia, the Birds also received journeymen QB Kelly Holcomb as a throw in.  With A.J. Feeley already in place as the backup and the recent high draft choice of Kevin Kolb, it didn't seem like the Eagles had a spot for Holcomb.  Turns out, they didn't.  He was dealt to former Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress and the Minnesota Vikings.

Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson broke a finger on his throwing hand this past week which puts him on the sideline for their match up with the Eagles.  Who will run the offense for Minnesota you ask?  Kelly Holcomb of course.

According to the Star Tribune, Holcomb is expected to start on Sunday.
