When we posted the photos of Eric Bruntlett enjoying his offseason on a lake out in California doing some fishing, the consensus around these parts was that his beard was a thing of beauty. To the disappointment of bearded men everywhere, Bruntlett showed up to Clearwater freshly shorn. MLB.com's Todd Zolecki did some fine follow up work and asked EBrunt why the beard was left in Cali. "It was nasty," he said. "You saw the pictures. It was curly. It was a
little scary. It was too much. I don't want to scare people here. They
