Flyers Dash-ing Despite Loss

With the Bruins coming to town for the first time since a hotly debated Randy Jones hit knocked Patrice Bergeron out indefinitely, things were bound to get dicey in South Philly tonight. Unfortunately, Boston got to the Flyers and Marty Biron early, jumping out to a 3-goal lead. It was expectedly rough though, with a few tussles and a big hit by Scott Hartnell on Andrew Alberts. Alberts had gone down on both knees to play the puck, and Hartnell just drilled him, resulting in Alberts' face getting smeared along the dasher. What is a "dasher," you ask? It's the part of the boards that violently and obtrusively separates the bottom portion of the boards from the top glass—where Bergeron's face met when Jones hit him earlier this season. Hartnell got a 5-minute major and a game misconduct.

No word yet on whether the Bullies will see yet another suspension...
