Jevon Kearse has been demoted in favor of Juqua Thomas.  Nothing real surprising about that news but it's still a sad state of affairs that the Freak has fallen off.

In other news, L.J. Smith is thinking about playing for another team next season.

"Right now, I'm looking at being on another team," Smith told local
reporters Wednesday, referring to the fact his contract expires after
this season and that there have not been any substantive discussions in
recent months about an extension.

I've got mixed emotions on L.J.  He has been a solid tight end for this team in recent years but he certainly has fought through a lot this season.  There's no denying the fact that Donovan McNabb and the Birds offense needs a pass catching tight end and L.J. fit that role nicely.  I'm not sold on Brent Celek stepping into that role, at least not yet.
