We've received some complaints from the paying customers here at the Level regarding our lack of Villanova coverage. We appologize to some extent but also would like to note we currently have no writers with ties to the Main Line school. If any quality 'Nova fans would like to volunteer their wit for some coverage, shoot us an email.

That said, Villanova's squad is no joke this year and are ranked as one of the top three teams in all the land. They took on St. Joe's last night at the Palestra in the famed Holy War. The Inquirer's Joe Juliano called it a "monumental scare" for the WildCats before they closed it out. That's one of the great things about Big Five hoops. A completely and totally undermanned Hawks squad can give the 'Nova behemoth a fight to the death.
