People seem to be fairly fond of the hockey around these parts as of late.  It's probably partially due to the fact that the the Flyers got off to a quick start.  Things on their recent road trip haven't been going as well with the Flyguys losing four of six after their most recent loss last night in New York.

Despite the return of Simon Gagne, the Flyers got handled.

"What happened today was the same problem we had in Montreal," said
winger Simon Gagne, back in the lineup after missing four games with a
concussion. "We get the other team to take the tempo early and we chase
the game. The Rangers are a tough team to battle back. In the first
period, you can't allow 22 shots."  In the opening period, the Flyers were outshot by 22-11.

That's no way to win games.

One of the nicer things about the NHL's decline in popularity is the fact that they're struggling for viewers.  This causes them to put their highlights online in embeddable format.  Feel free to watch last night's highlights after the jump.  Oh yeah: Forsberg will likely never see the NHL again.
