Scott Hartnell's children's book ‘Hartnelldown' is now on sale

Here’s a nice stocking stuffer for the young Flyers fan in your life. Be sure to pick up the epic autobiography of Scott Hartnell, Hartnelldown, the story of a young Canadian man’s struggle to escape the mean streets of Regina, Saskatchewan.

Okay, we’re being told that’s not the book at all. Hartnelldown is actually a children’s book about… Scott Hartnell falling down. I think. Sadly, we were not sent a copy for review, so you’ll have to settle for this product description:

Get the first children's book from Kyla Hartnell, Scott Hartnell and the Hartnelldown Foundation! It's the must-have gift for the little or big kid on your list.

Count the number of times Scott Hartnell falls as he journeys from his backyard rink to the NHL. Find out why his teammates claim, "It ain't a practice 'til Hartnell falls."  One thing is for certain... He always gets back up!

UPDATE: Photos of the Flyers players enjoying some heavy reading courtesy of the team.

Proceeds go to the Hartnelldown Foundation, which supports charities that support hockey, children and communities in the US and Canada. That mission seems a little vague, but Scotty is a good dude.

Now I know what you’re all wondering… is it available in hardback? I. Don’t. Know. But you can purchase your copy at the Hartnelldown Foundation official store, or at either of the next two Philadelphia Flyers home games.
