Sixers top Knicks with seconds left

Fresh off of being named NBA player of the week, A.I. led the Sixers past the Knicks at the Wachovia Center 106-105.  Allen had 38 points and Marc Jackson came up big off the bench throwing in 22.  After scoring 60 on Saturday, Iverson went off in the first half tonight for 31, but only had 7 points in the second half.

The Sixers were up big early, but squandered the lead to the Knicks with about 2 minutes left.  The final two minutes was a back and forth battle.  Down one, with 4 seconds left, A.I. got double teamed and found an open Marc Jackson for the game winning layup.  Nazr Mohammed got an open look with less than a second left but choked by missing a would be game winner.

The Sixers have reached .500 for the season and are atop the Atlantic Division.  A.I. had some funny post game quotes, perhaps I will post them later if I search for them.
