PHILADELPHIA -- Tim Worrell's tough season in Philadelphia ended late Thursday, when the club dealt him to Arizona for infielder Matt Kata.
The Phillies also picked up a portion of what's remaining on Worrell's 2005 salary of $2.75 million. The veteran will be a free agent after the season.
This trade means one thing: Tim Worrell will step in and be a lights out closer for the D-Backs.
