Jim Salisbury
Jim Salisbury covers the Phillies and Major League Baseball for CSNPhilly.com. He can also be seen on Comcast SportsNet. Salisbury joined CSNPhilly.com in Dec. 2009, after 13 years at the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he covered the Phillies and wrote baseball columns. He has also worked for the New York Post, where he covered the 1996 World Series champion Yankees. He began covering baseball in 1988 for the Pawtucket (R.I.) Times. He is a member of the Baseball Writers Association of America. Salisbury's favorite Phillies memories include John Kruk finishing a morning radiation treatment then later that day smacking an RBI double in front of 58,000 at Veterans Stadium in his first at-bat of the 1994 season, and Matt Stairs' tie-breaking, pinch-hit home run in the eighth inning of Game 4 of the 2008 NLCS.
