Tim Panaccio

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Panaccio has more than three decades experience covering sports for America's top newspapers in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington and Houston, including 24 years at the Philadelphia Inquirer. Has more than 20 years covering the NHL/NFL. He has covered the Flyers continuously since 1995 and covered them from 1978-1982. Additionally, he was a Pulitzer finalist in 1994-1995 for work done as part of an Inquirer investigative team looking into Pennsylvania state Senatorial election fraud. Among his recent accolades, he won the Vigoda Award for coverage of the NHL lockout in 2005 and the Professional Hockey Writers Association award for breaking news on-line, 2007.
