Greg and Jim Salisbury from Clearwater and Jim. Can we assume this means Hamels will be the Phillies opening day starter. Well Charlie Manuel has not announced anything yet Neal but I do believe that is the way they're gonna go. Cole Hamels 29 years all the prime of his career he was their best pitcher last year. Signed they got six year 144. Million dollar contract in July the richest in Philadelphia sports history I think he has earned the honor. I think it's time is common I think Charlie will name him the opening day starter. Probably once they go through every guy getting a shot in the rotation. Just to make sure everything's working OK and Charlie has also said look I've got three starters anyone of the three could be our opening day starter. You've written on CSN Philly dot com that you think Kyle Kendrick. Should make the second start of the regular season -- Roy Halladay should open that hole against the Royals explain why. Well is just a little idea I throughout their Neal I'm not sure I'm a 100% behind it but. You know Roy Halladay. Was really roughed up by the Atlanta Braves last year had an eleven ERA. In four starts actually was over eleven so I'm thinking you start Halladay at home in game four it gives you a big guy in your home opener. You start Kyle Kendrick from game to he's got great numbers against the Braves and that way you are splitting up your lefties Hamels and Lee -- game one. -- in game three. Plus I'm not sure -- wants to send that message to Roy Halladay that he's already avoiding an opponent. So -- says he's gonna go to his big guys in Atlanta I would expect Hamels Halladay and Lee in that order.
